My only fear of writing a review is that even more diners will love Violino as much as we do!
Chefs Franco Stocci (who seranades diners) and son Ricardo, with mother Marcella welcoming diners, have created a restaurant in this small town that even attracts the Academia Italiana de la Cucina from distant Wash. D.C. for its meetings.
The food is supurb, well presented and imaginative; the waitstaff expert in service, food knowledge and wine; the ambience is delightful, from the decor to the strolling violinist on weekend nights.
It's small and intimate, and not inexpensive, but it fills up quickly. Repeat customers are greeted with hugs!
In my opinion it's a Winchester treasure. I can't say enough good things about it. |
