I have been dining at the Alpine for nearly 40 years. It is the best Italian restaurant in the DC area and compares favorably with restaurants where I have dined around the world. Ermano is a superior chef/owner. Maitre D',Erwin; Mahmoud, John, Guptra and other waiters Couldn't be more helpful and are good friends. My associates and I have lunch there one or two days a week. |

The food was wonderfully prepared. Everything arrived hot, and with an extremely reasonable time--given the fact that this was a party of 50 people! Ambiance was wonderful also. My hats off to the entire staff of The Alpine Restaurant. |
