This is one of our favorite restaurants in Galveston. Pizza is the best on the island, and the other Italian dishes are delicious. The service is always friendly - it's a great casual place for a family lunch or dinner. And it's quiet enough for a conversation. |

Yes, you heard me right. It's not your Papa John's as far as price goes, but the quality more than explains the extra $10. Place has been there since I can remember and has been remodeled many times. Mario's is more than just a pizza joint....it's also a place for good quality TRUE Italian food as well. It's no secret: pizza is an American invention, but it has been REinvented by the staff at Mario's who know how to do it better than anyone else on the island. |

This is the place go for great authentic pizza! It's kid friendly and is family owned. Decor is a bit shabby, but the food and service more than makes up for it! |
