This is THE best pizza place in Arlington hands down. Haven't had a person that I've taken it to say otherwise. Everything is good. The only one thing I don't like is their bread (served with pasta) other than that they are #1. NOTHING beats them. They are all very friendly too. The only thing I wish is that they would open a store in North Arlington, too!!!! |

I lived in New York for about 6 years about 14-20 years ago.......
One thing I miss about the " Big Apple", among many things, is the food; namley the PIZZA.
Sorry, but Texans cant touch NewYorkers in the pizza department. Sorry, but we cant be good at everything!
I discovered this little joint off Green Oaks, in Arlington....
I cried...I laughed...I cried and laughed together! This was it. This was the taste I'd been yearning for since living in the Lone Star.
EXCELLENT and traditional Itallian food. |

For a neighborhood casual Italian restaurant, this place is pretty decent. The walls are painted with murals of a 50's era street filled with stars from the movies. The food is good, although not great, pretty greasy but cheap. The employees are very friendly.
We live within 2 miles of the location, however, and have never received delivery in under an hour. How long does it take to make a plate of spaghetti??? |

I'm a native New Yorker at heart, and when I went to Brooklyn's Best with my boyfriend's mother, I nearly died, it was like being back in the tiny pizzeria near my aunt's, where they made the pizza from scratch and it tasted so good.
I'd eaten their pizza before, when it was brought home in a box, but a box cannot do it justice. You need to go into the restaurant, meet the owners, have a laugh, and eat!
Try the cheesesticks, the pasta, everything! It's all delicious! |
