I have dined at Giovanni's on many occasions. The atmosphere is great! Authentic Italian food. I have recommended this restaurant to everyone I know. My favorite dish is the Portabello mushrooms with chicken in alfredo sauce, a ceasar salad, with a glass of red wine. |

The dishes here are extraordinary. I work in Houston and often dine with clients at highly rated restaurants. It is a pleasure to finally get the same in my own home town. The presentation of the dishes is always lovely. The sauces and personal touches are always unexpected and welcomed. Better to have a reservation, small wine selection, but nice. I wish they had nicer wine glasses, I really enjoy drinking from a thinner, lighter glass. Otherwise, the service is great in this quaint little kitchen. You almost feel as though you were personally invited.
Desserts were just ok. But Italians were never really known for their desserts anyway! |
