I had dinner with 3 other people on 9th June 05. Very crowded but service OK. Oysters were $3.50 each. I ordered one dozen but received only small tasteless oysters that were not worth 0.50 cents each. I pointed that out to the attendant who later told me that the manager said " that to have good oysters they would have to charge $7.50 each. Ridiculous indeed! If you can not provide an appetizer at a decent price than do not include it in your menu just for the sake of being "chic". The best Oysters in France are called "Gillardeau" and the cost is far less than Al Fornos and the quality immensely better. |
