My family started eating at Manducati's in the early 1980s. People from Manhattan didn't know it then. It was our place and it was good. Now, the cast from the Soprano's competes for my favorite table. Oh, well, nothing stays the same. Except for Chef Ida's superlative cuisine. The price is all too reasonable--just don't tell owner Vincenzo I said so. You won't regret a visit. |

The best Italian Restaurant in Queens. Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, but once you enter, the ambiance is wonderful. The small dining room setting with the bar to the right makes you feel as though you're in someone's home. Just when you thought this was the entire restaurant, the waiter leads you toward the back where there is plenty of room to sit (you're not on top of people like at Cono's). The atmosphere is warm and pretty...but the best part: THE FOOD!!
It is simply outstanding. I highly recommend Manducatti's. |
