I was married on the front lawn, and I felt like a Princess. We go back every year for our Anniversary and enjoy every minute of it. |

- Waitress did not speak english very well and wasn't a very good watiress
- Gumbo had to be sent back, brown water with specks of sausage
- Crab Bisque had no flaver
- Creole Shrimp & Scallops: $20 for 3 small shrimp and 2 scallops over pasta in a poor tasting sauce
- Filet topped w/crabmeat: $40 for an average tasting filet (not the best quality filet) topped with good tasting crabmeat. |

I used to rave about this place, and after a couple of year's hiatus, was glad to get back to it on a date. However, the service was replaced by non-english speaking immigrants that were clearly hired more for their willingness to work for a green card than their ability. Won't go there again. Sad, the food was good. |

I am a local who has been to this resturant about 5 times in the last 4 years. The food is always well presented, interesting, and flavorful. Their soups are the best, always seasonal, and made with local ingredients. Do not come here if you want a fast dinner. This is your evening's entertainment. It's BYOB, so you get a chance to bring several different wines and experiment with your meal and flavors. Call ahead and ask what they are serving and that will help you select your wines. Also, do not miss their Sunday brunch. A wonderful way to end a perfect weekend with close friends and family. |

I would recommend this restaurant to any one who enjoys fine dinning. The food was different and wounderful. Service was frendly and attentive. The restaurant is in a Victorian mansion built around 1859. |

How about this?

- Waitress refused to take order from the ladies at the table first because as she rudely explained, "We cannot -- we arrange our ordering on our pad in the order in which you are seated."
- Left dirty plates in front of us for 45 minutes between appetizer & entree and then another 30 minutes between entree and check.
- Crawfish appetizer had gone bad (spoiled) -- waitress refused to comment on it and argued about taking it off the check.
- Service was deplorable all around -- when small tip was left waitress followed us into the parking lot and asked "Have we forgotten gratuity this evening?" When we told her about the service, she stormed off back into the restaurant without comment.
- BTW - tried this restaurant several years ago before going back and the service has not improved at all.

Negative stars for this one. They should pay us to visit them |
