We have dined at Baccio several times, and held family parties there as well. Management and wait staff go out of their way to satisfy your needs. Simply put, the food is good, and the dishes are imaginative. I can personally vouch for the veal and seafood dishes. Their crab cakes are the best I've had. Linda enjoys the chicken dishes, and says the eggplant parmesan is excellent. |

According to the Newark Star Ledger reviewer, S.J. Gintzler on Dec. 27 2002: "At Baccio Ristorante, the stage is set for a romatic Italian meal. Dine on Veal Milanese and a grilled shrimp-arugula salad amid flowers, music and candle light.
"Ambiance: Big, bright letters proclaim Baccio, but the snazzy eatery feels far removed from its strip mall locale. A gurgling fountain and murals of the Mediterranean adorn the entrance, leading to sparkling, nightclub-y quarters. Comfortably spaced tables invite intimacy. The Staff is casual and courteous. The food is upscale Italian-American dishes." |

This restaurant is great. Not many restaurants in New Jersey are this good. The food is terrific and the small but wonderful restaurant service is great!!!!!! An 'A' in my book. |

My wife and I eat regularly at Baccio. Johnny and his staff are the best in Monmouth and Ocean County. The menu is very diverse, and everything is prepared perfectly. My wife loves the Penne Arrabiata, but my favorite is one of Johnny's specialties, Steak Asagi. It is a huge ribeye steak, split, and stuffed with fresh mozzarella cheese, and topped with shitaki mushrooms and lump crabmeat in a vermouth demi-glaze. Outstanding! |

I eat at Baccio's frequently. I think I tried most of Johnny's specials so far. His Seafood specials are always fresh and done to my liking. It depends on what he gets in fresh that day. Tuna, Mako and SeaBass are among my favorites. Then there is my old standby Linguini with white clam sauce, just enough garlic and so many clams there is little room for the pasta. Baccio Ristorante is affordable to eat out at more than once a week. An unbelievable Tour of Italy dinner for two on Tuesday night is only $24.95. That night's signature dish as far as I am concerned is the Veal Pizziaola |
