We have been to almost every restaurant in S.E. Ocala since moving here seven years ago. Pasta Faire in Belleview is one of the best.
I have always found the service to be courteous, friendly and prompt. The food is prepared and presented well. I would recommend Pasta Faire to any one seeking a fine casual dining experience. |

I have enjoyed going to Pasta Faire many many times. They have excellent dishes and specials. We have never gotten bad service before. I have always noticed how polite and friendly the servers are. I enjoy going in there and will continue to go. |

To Whom It May Concern:
I had the most irritating experience at your restaurant last evening. Although,
I will share some details; you cannot fully appreciate the annoyance of it all unless
You had actually been there.
When we first sat down our server seemed polite enough letting us know what the
Hold up was on our drinks as she flew by several times. We ordered Sweet Tea,
Which she continuously repeated thru out the evening. When we finally ordered I
Felt as if we needed to hold on to a piece of her clothing or she would run away
Before we finished ordering. If we asked a question or spoke out of turn she would
Run us right over with her words, as if we were not to interrupt her. It was flat out
Rude.
When she delivered the bread I asked for butter. We did not get the salads for at
Least 15 or so minutes. Due to the late hour that was puzzling. When she did
Drop of he salads it was with such speed that I could not get the words out fast
Enough that I asked for ranch dressing. I had to wait at least 5 minutes while
She flew back and forth (I am not exaggerating.) Finally, my fiancée stopped her
And I managed to quickly remind her again about the butter for the bread I asked
For some time ago.
Within 2 minutes of starting on my salad she informs me my dinner is ready
Would we like it? My fiancée complains to me, wondering why we were not given
Time to eat our salad's before our meal is ready and setting under a warmer.
I mean this is a decent restaurant, correct? Just Common Sense.
During all of the above… Before salads arrive, my fiancée needed a refill on
The Ice Tea. We were hoping perhaps "this time" we could get Sweet Tea like we
Ordered. She continued to fly up and down the aisle, she acknowledged his empty
Glass and kept chanting sweet tea right ?? many different times as she went by.
He got a refill within 10 minutes. She brought a pitcher and once again asked
Sweet Tea. It was not sweet. Towards the end of our meal he sat with no drink
At all. There was no return visit for a refill or plate clearing
When I requested my ranch dressing she looked at me and insisted I asked
For Italian. By this time I had it with her. When the meal came, I had ordered
The steak medium. Which to me means I will see at least a tinge of pink. It was
Thoroughly cooked thru. To me, making it tough and hard to chew. I just
Didn't even care anymore. I left the steak on my plate and finished my salad
And watched my fiancée hope he'd get a refill of "Sweet Tea."
We sat for at least 10 minutes with our silverware on our plates hoping for
(no not a refill) but our bill and boxes. I eventually went to hunt down another
Server to get us boxes. I was hoping to find someone up front to complain
about our service but there was no one.
Our server makes an appearance wondering what we wanted, at this time I was
All but shaking my head to myself thinking "Oh My God!" We asked her for
Boxes and off she ran. I told my fiancée I had to go outside or I was going to
Lose any good manners I had and become quite rude.
He comes outside shaking his head, saying it was a good thing I left when I did.
She had sat down in my vacated seat boxing up our food asking him what was
Wrong. He asked her to box our bread and butter also which she did not.
As he is walking out he is puzzling over the bill. When he ordered his Spaghetti
He only wanted a side salad. But, she (speed talking) suggested at least 3 other
Types of salads in lieu of the one he had chosen. So he chose another. She had
Given the impression they were all the same price as what he had ordered. We
Look at the bill, and there is a $5 salad on there. He merely wanted a side salad.
We were at the Outback a few weeks ago and ordered a side salad and she
Mentioned they also had a new salad etc. We tried it per her suggestion and it
Was the same price. Of course "that waitress" spoke calmly and politely and
Gave us a chance to answer etc.
I notice on the ticket there is no charge of the infamous "Sweet Tea." If this was
Her idea of any type of consolation for the irritating service, it did not work. Also,
After the waiting, and eventually getting someone else to fetch her to our table
With boxes, I was told she then stood at another table holding the boxes, as if we
Hadn't waited enough.
My fiancée and myself were very disappointed. He was treating us after a late
Night at work, at first we tried to laugh it off that she was not all there or on some
Type of drugs. But when I have to go outside because my self-respect can't take
Any more for fear of causing a scene, well that is quite ridiculous. I don't even
Get this bad of service at a burger drive thru filled with high schools.

Great place to eat good people! I like everything except for the restrooms. They are very nasty and need to have a few dollars invested in them to bring them up to par. I know the people working there have to use those restrooms and I have placed one warning about the way they are kept. |

Pasta Faire is hands down my favorite place to eat pasta, I live in Gainesville and am more than willing to travel the distance for their inventive, fresh and wonderful meals! The roasted chicken and fresh breads are fantastic. The best dish I've encountered so far is the Pebble Beach, it's Broccoli, shrimp, and chicken in a alfredo sauce over angel hair pasta! It's phenomenal! |

Pasta Faire has delivered excellent service and food for me time and time again. The bread and oil they serve for starters is absolutely wonderful. We have never been disappointed by a dish they serve, even their mixed vegetables side is seasoned and delicious. The ambiance is wonderful for special occasions like a birthday party, and also private enough for a romantic dinner. It's creative Italian Faire. Old favorites reinvented, and incredible rotisserie chicken in any dish! We have slow service on occasion, but it's always courteous. We consider it well worth the wait. |
