The food was good, and I would have to agree that the wine list was weak. However the Chocolate Hazelnut cake that was recomended above was definitely very good. Both service and price were reasonable as well. |

The place is a very nice and intimate. The food overall is very good, in particular the pizza, the rice with mushrooms and the filet mignon. The wine selection could be a little more extensive but none the less there is a good variety. |

Some of the best food in the city - hidden away in Adams Morgan. Staff is friendly, a little inattentive at times, but gracious none the less. Every item on the menu is carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. Great place for a date or a large group. |

This place says that it is a tapas restaurant and "Wine Bar." The wine list is pathetic and you'll only find one Spanish red wine on the menu. Compare this with Jaleo's fantastic wine list. You would think that a tapas restaurant, of all places, would understand that Spanish wine provides the best quality to value ration in the market (affording better wines to consumers and better profits to owners). Too bad too, because the food at Anzu is decent and it could be a good addition to Adams Morgan. |
