Like many, I enjoyed going to Lucia's at the old Mowry location. Greed has not overtaken the younger generation of Lucia's. Went there once last year and never returned. We eat out every noght so beleive me when I tell you, that Lucia's management had better wake up because they are going to lose all their old customers. Gone are the warm, family-oriented waitstaff, good food and outstanding portions with great prices. Yes, now it's like a cheap ex-family restaurant in an unlucky spot, like a worn-out Olive Garden, but even worse. The old man should be turning in his grave, what a shame...LUcia's has lost is warmth and class..... |

I was at the newly relocated Lucia's last night- it was a horrible experience! First of all the hostess was not there to greet us when we came in. We had to stand there for more than 5 minutes before anyone came to greet/seat us. Next, we opened the menu to find that the even the most simple pasta dishes were a minimum of 14.95! Their food isn't worth even close to that! We actually got up and left and went to Olive Garden across the way- it's cheaper, the food is better and the ambiance is far superior. What a joke! |

HI ALL,
LUCIA'S ITALIAN PIZZA & RESTAURANT IN FREMONT HAS THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN TOWN. I AM A REGULAR THERE & IN THE LAST 16 YEARS I DID NOT FIND ANY PLACE IN THE AREA WITH BETTER FOOD. PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE & SERVICE IS GOOD. I REALLY LIKE THE NEW LOCATION. IT'S CLOSE TO MY WORK.I HAVE KNOWN THE FAMILY FOR A LONG TIME AND THEY ARE DOING A GREAT JOB. |

Someone gave me a gift certificate for this restaurant. I went on web to get the direction & see all these comments. But after I visited the place I was very surprised that the place is very, very good. We really like the food, service & the building. I will go back again. |
