Finally, an excellent, non-chain (I think) restaurant in town. I frequently dine in San Francisco so my culinary expectations are high. What a terrific surprise I found in Carpaccio. Party of 5 dined on New Year's Eve and all were very happy. I had Scallops and Prawns and I was impressed. The dessert was excellent as well and all food presentation was very good. Initial service was slow (I don't think they were prepared for the New Year's Eve onslaught) but they quickly recovered. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the interior is a bit stodgy and currently they only serve wine and beer. But, I shall return. |

Just tried this wonderful restaurant. All the food was fabulous (especially the desserts). My wife had the Pesto Gnocchi and I had the Fettuccine con Gamberoni (fettuccine w/prawns and artichokes). I look forward to returning to try many other dishes that sounded appealing. We definitely need more good restaurants like this in Antioch. |

I tried this restaurant for the first time this last month, and I was amazed by how good it was! I've tried the Fettucini Alfredo and a dish with a complicated name and little twisty noodles and both mushrooms and italian sausage - both were absolutely delicious. The only gripe I have is that the atmosphere is very sterile. |
